Live Arts Collective Performance features LVA Students, Faculty and Alumni

he City of Las Vegas Live Arts Collective, led by Artistic Director and LVA instructor, Avree Walker, is honored to present “Subject; Re-Birth VOL. 1: A Collection of Thoughts, Friday & Saturday, February 2 and 3, 2024 at 7:30 pm at the West Las Vegas Library Theatre, 951 W. Lake Mead Blvd, LV NV 89106. This evening-length work is the product of a dynamic artistic collaboration, featuring choreography by LVA instructor Justus Whitfield, LVA para-pros Eric Lobenberg, Radnell Marin Pedraza, LVA Dance instructional assistant, Koura Wright, and original writings and song by Teshi Thomas, LVA alums Trinity Smith, and Tianna “Falcon” Lewis. The piece explores the current condition of humanity, shared from the perspectives of young people. This work is designed to engage, remind, inspire, and uplift. The cast and creative team highlights students and resident artists from the West Las Vegas Arts Center and community. We are celebrating Art as a therapeutic practice, bringing life to theatre. This program is free and open to the public. We will have an opening night reception (6:00-7:00 pm), with visual artist and alumnus Manuel Batista, and the LVA Jazz Band. This event is free and open to the public.
