Commencement Information
Las Vegas Academy Class of 2025. The commencement ceremony date is announced in November . Instructions for obtaining tickets will follow the basic guidelines below. Seniors and their parents/guardians need to check the LVA Weekly Update and emails for important announcements and updates regarding the Class of 2025.

Each senior automatically receives 6 ceremony tickets.

Seniors will receive these 6 tickets with their cap & gown at rehearsal.

Seniors may request an additional 10 tickets.

An announcement will be made in April for students wanting additional tickets to pick up and return a Ticket Request Form.

If tickets are remaining after all extra ticket requests are filled, seniors may pick up additional tickets on a first come first serve basis. The time and location for picking up extra tickets will be announced.
Cap & Gown
Jostens is LVA Official Company for LVA Graduation Gear. Seniors should order their cap & gown no later than April 12 to be guaranteed delivery by May 21. For questions about cap and gowns, contact Assistant Principal Josh Hager at 702-799-7800 ext.4204.
CCR Stoles
Seniors earning a Career & College Readiness diploma may wear a CCR Stole at Graduation. Students may purchase the stole at the school bank for $25.00. Students with a financial hardship may see their counselor for assistance.

Senior Fines must be paid by March 2025

The senior fine list for any CCSD/LVA fines will be released on February 20.

These are for fines owed before February 1. [May include some February travel payments/class fees]

The UPDATED deadline to pay senior fines is 3:00 pm on APRIL 5.

Payments may be made in person with a check, cash, or CREDIT CARD. [Credit card payments are only accepted in person at this time.]

IMPORTANT! Outstanding unpaid fines and/OR NEW FEES INCURED must be paid by May 20. Fees not paid by May 20 will prohibit the senior from participating in the commencement ceremony or attending Grad Nite.
Senior Events Eligibility
While activities are fun, earning a diploma is the priority for all seniors and LVA. All seniors must be eligible and remain eligible, and be in good standing, to participate in Class of 2024 activities including the Senior Picnic and conservatory or major travel. Additionally, students who do not graduate will not attend Grad Nite.

The senior must be eligible according to the Eligibility Policy - this includes citizenship

The senior must be on track to graduate

The senior must NOT be credit-deficient
What should a senior do?
-
Check with teachers to ensure you have all work in and are passing.

If you are not passing, check to see what you can do at this time OR how you can bring your grade to passing before senior activities.

If you are credit deficient, see your counselor to work out a plan.
-
If you enrolled in an APEX course, complete it as soon as possible.
Class of 2025 Spring Presentation
Click above for the Counseling Department Class of 2025 presentation to seniors during meetings in April. Seniors must review and complete items in the presentation in April and May of 2025.
Senior Grad Nite
Information on 2025 senior grad nite will be released as soon as it is available in the fall of 2024
