The senior portrait is a tradition highlighting your senior year! Your photo is important and is used at LVA in a variety of situations:
1. Your senior photos are used in the yearbook!
2. Your photo is used in the Senior Slide Show
3. Used in Senior Spotlights
4. Media for recognition throughout the year

Commencement Information
The Class of 2026 commencement ceremony date is announced in November. Instructions for obtaining tickets will follow the basic guidelines below. Seniors and their parents/guardians should check the LVA Weekly Update and emails for important announcements and updates regarding the Class of 2026.

Each senior automatically receives 6 ceremony tickets, given out with their cap & gown at rehearsal.

Seniors can request up to 10 additional tickets in April/May by completing a Ticket Request Form.

After all requests are filled, any remaining tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tickets are only available to seniors or parents/guardians. The pick-up time and location will be announced.
Cap & Gown

Seniors can order their cap & gown and other graduation items at Jostens.com.

Jostens is LVA’s official graduation supplier. Order by April 12, 2026, to guarantee delivery by graduation practice on May 22. Multiple packages are available.

CCR Stoles
Seniors earning a Career & College Readiness Diploma may wear a CCR stole at graduation. Sales begin May 4, 2026 at the school bank for $25. Students with financial hardship can see their counselor for assistance.

Senior Fines Must be Paid to Participate in LVA Events
Senior Events Eligibility
While activities are fun, earning your diploma is the top priority. To participate in Class of 2026 activities and travel (dances, Senior Picnic, conservatory or major trips), seniors must:

Meet the Eligibility Policy (including citizenship)

Be on track to graduate and not credit-deficient
-
Have all fines and fees paid
Tips for Staying Eligible:

Check with teachers to ensure all work is in and passing
-
If not passing, ask what you can do to improve before activities
-
If credit-deficient, see your counselor to make a plan
-
Complete any APEX course as soon as possible

The Counseling Department’s presentation for seniors will be in April. Seniors must review and complete all items by May 10, 2025.
