⏰Updated - LVA 2026–2027 School Year Bell Times⏰ Dear LVA Families, Due to transportation logistics, CCSD has updated the bell times for the 2026–2027 school year and determined that LVA’s instructional day will be 8:00 am – 3:00 pm. We recognize that this schedule may impact rehearsals, performances, and other after-school activities. Our staff is reviewing how to best adapt to these new times so we can continue providing students with a full range of academic and performing

The State of Nevada requires all students to take the ACT exam before graduation. For students who would like to prepare for the test, LVA will once again partner with Tutors Across America to offer a discounted ACT Prep Bootcamp on September 4, 5, and 7, 2026. Students of all ages are welcome to attend. Congrats to our Superintendent Medallion recipients—Louisa Christy, Kate Johnson, and Cooper Ouchida! These three have gone above and beyond, earning a 31+ on the ACT, scoring 3 or higher on an AP exam, and completing a CTE certification. That’s no small feat. So proud of their hard work and everything they’ve accomplished. Well deserved!

Big shoutout to junior Jazz major Adrianna Keroles for making LVA history last week as the first student to earn a medal at the DECA National Competition in Atlanta! Future energy was HIGH on Tuesday! LVA welcomed almost 400 incoming students joining the student body next year. LVA’s own Ethan Salmon is turning heads with his exhibition Structured , on view through March 28 at Recycled Propaganda.
