ACT - Initial Information for Juniors and Parents/Guardian

All junior students will be required to take the ACT on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, from 7:00 am to approximately 12:30. The school day will still be 7:00 am to 2:00 pm. **See end of day transportation options below.

School day only for Juniors. There will be no in-person school on this day for freshman, sophomore, and senior students. Freshmen, sophomores, and seniors will complete work at home on February 27.

The test will run from approximately 7:00 am to around 12:30 pm for junior students. Students can prepare for the ACT here.

Additional information will be communicated before February 27.

**Transportation: CCSD Buses will still be scheduled as normal on test day. If parents/guardians want their student to leave school immediately after testing is done, they must provide a permission letter stating that they permit their child to leave campus when testing is over on February 27, 2024. Parents/guardians may also state in the letter how their child will be leaving school; driving themselves, or a parent/guardian will pick the child up. Students are not permitted to ride with other students after the test to go home. For verification purposes, a copy of the parent’s/guardian’s driver's license must accompany the letter requesting the student leave campus after the exam.

All requests for students to leave campus on the testing day must be with the Character & Compliance office by Friday, February 23, 2024.
