Program Curriculum
The Las Vegas Academy of the Arts Mariachi Program focuses on developing musicianship through a comprehensive music education program. Students learn about the history and traditions of Mariachi music as well as developing a repertoire of literature that they perform for concerts, Noche De Mariachi’s, and performances throughout the community
Program Outcome
The Las Vegas Academy of the Arts Mariachi Program helps students acquire the skills necessary to be successful in both music and non-music fields. Upon graduation, many of our students have developed the musicianship necessary to be able to perform professionally with Mariachi groups in our community. Students also apply the skills learned in our program (time management, goal setting, problem-solving) towards collegiate and professional careers in virtually any career or field of study including medicine, law, engineering, and many others.
