Preserving the City We Know: Ethan Salmon’s Structured Exhibition

LVA’s own Ethan Salmon is turning heads with his exhibition Structured, on view through March 28 at Recycled Propaganda. Instead of focusing on the bright lights of the Strip, Ethan highlights a different side of Las Vegas—the everyday places locals pass without a second thought, many of which are fading or already gone.

Through incredibly detailed models, sculptures, and paintings, this LVA Alum captures the textures, history, and quiet beauty of these spaces. Even more striking, he transformed the gallery itself to mirror the worn, industrial feel of his work, creating a fully immersive experience. Structured is both personal and powerful, preserving the memories of a changing city while inviting viewers to see familiar places in a completely new way.

Congratulations, Ethan, on your exhibition. LVA appreciates your dedication to working with students and preserving Las Vegas history.
