The application window for students to apply for the Seal of Biliteracy has just opened and will close at 5:00 pm on December 12th, 2022.
Students who are eligible for the Seal of Biliteracy must demonstrate:
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: • Complete all high school graduation requirements (seniors and juniors who graduate early) • Complete all semesters of English with a 2.0 or higher GPA • Demonstrate proficiency in one or more languages other than English by fulfilling one of the following options: ◆ Advanced Placement World Language Exam with a score of 3 or higher ◆ International Baccalaureate World Language Exam with a score of 4 or higher ◆ District-approved language exam with a passing score
The district-approved language exams will be scheduled and proctored by individual schools in coordination with the CCSD Curriculum and Instruction Division. The testing window is from Monday, January 9–Friday, March 31, 2023.

Applications will be accepted starting Monday, October 3, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. and will close on Monday, December 12, 2022, at 5:00 p.m., late applications will not be accepted.
