The Nevada Department of Education is required to select a reading and math assessment that needs to be completed in high school for federal reporting requirements. State statute also requires the selection of a college and career readiness (CCR) assessment. Beginning in 2018, Nevada began to use the ACT for both requirements. The selection process for the CCR assessment is once again up for review. We are seeking stakeholder input to help us develop the criteria for selecting a CCR assessment, which would likely be implemented in the 2023–2024 school year.
