Amelia Barnum, Class of 2023, created the custom mural for LVA on Clark & 10th Streets. We [30th Anniversary Mural Project] wanted a cornerstone piece for the campus to help all the lost parents trying to find a show or audition. The aim was to be welcoming and fun, especially for middle schoolers nervous about their audition or shadow day. The challenge was set high because the walls are diagonal on two sides, plus a fire door and many objects protruding. She had to ensure the characters would not be cut out and the movement would lead one towards the center of LVA. She nailed it! Amelia is going to SCAD next year for animation.
