Theatre Students in the News!

Theater department students are going non-stop this spring.

MTCA Award Winners last weekend! Congratulations to our Theatre Conservatory students who competed at the Musical Theatre Competitions of America!!

  • HS Advanced Monologue: Benjamin E - 1st place Ashley V - 2nd place

  • HS Advanced Solo: William H - 2nd place

  • LVA took the 2nd place national trophy for HS Advanced Ensemble [The Drowsy Chaperone]


Also, last weekend, a handful of theatre students were a part of the World Premiere Reading of "The House on Watch Hill '' by Tony award-winning writers/composers Richard Oberacker and Robert Taylor.

Students included: Griffin Misegades, Layne King, Shekinah Wilson, Mo LIma Truong, Cruz Rodriguez!
